We're back for 2024 with 80 potters
Event organisers Pat and Geoff Fuller had a profound passion for both pottery and food.
Together they organised the annual Wardlow Mires Pottery and Food Festival, a testament to their dedication to fostering creativity, camaraderie, and a love for the arts, until their passing.
They revelled in the friendships that blossomed during these festivals, savouring the unique blend of culinary delights and artistic expressions.
It was Pat’s wish that the Wardlow Mires Pottery and Food Festival continued after her death in December 2023.
Her enthusiasm for the festival was enormous, and she found immense joy in witnessing the vibrant tapestry of creativity woven by fellow enthusiasts. Pat’s legacy will undoubtedly endure through the memories created at these gatherings from now on, a testament to the indelible mark she left on our hearts.
Pat’s family and a team of helpers are making this happen in 2024 in memory of both Pat and Geoff.
Visitors in 2024 will be able to choose from the work of some of this country's finest functional pottery makers and buy quality, locally sourced and produced food as the renowned pots and food festival returns to the Peak District.
Potters and producers will be based in a large marquee just off the B6465 near Wardlow.
The festival runs from
10am-5pm on Saturday 7 September 2024
10am-4pm on Sunday 8 September 2024
Last entry is one hour before closing time.

FREE onsite parking
FREE entry for children under 16
FREE souvenir catalogue
Some stalls will take both cash and card but please be aware there is no cash machine on site, so please be equipped prior to attending the event.
